This is here to assist you in gaining some knowledge about creating tree essences. Once learnt, it will be with you always. So, here is the first little leaflet I created to offer what you may already know, so apologies for teaching Grannie to suck eggs!
EARTH TRINITY
WALKING WITH THE TREES
The first sound
every Human being hears is the double heartbeat. In our Mother’s watery womb,
we experience a sense of security and belonging because we hear our own
heartbeats echoed by that of the Mother who carries us for nine months. When we
are drawn into our Earth Walk through the miracle of birth, the second
heartbeat disappears. Human beings know on a deep level that something is
missing. They are looking for the second heartbeat.
The missing
heartbeat is found when we listen to our Earth Mother and enter Tiyoweh, the
Stillness. In that place of silence, we can feel the vibration and hear the heartbeat
of the Earth. Through that experience we can rediscover our sense of security
and belonging. The Earth Mother’s heartbeat tells us we are never alone. Our
true Mother, the Earth is always present to nurture us and gives us rest.
All she asks is
that we stop and listen for the second heartbeat.

When we become
part of the Earth Trinity, we enter into a sacred agreement. We accept
responsibility to become the bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.

THE SOUND OF HEALING
Within the
experience of Being in the Earth vibration (to hear and feel that resonance) is
a great healing for mind/body and spirit. The realization of total unity
with creation, becomes a reality for the duration of “time” within that
vibration. Yet, it is there always, pulsating, within and without connecting
all Humanity and Life to the Mother. Again, we are going to the
“record-keepers”, the ancient stones and the old trees, who have been waiting.
As people, we are again using our instinct and intuitive knowledge to walk the
lands and re-discover a vibration, an electromagnetic pulse that is the nervous
system of our Mother, in all its intricacy and subtle motion, we are
discovering again what the Ancients knew: They, who lived so close to the land,
worked with geometry and alignments, we in the 21st century are only just
re-claiming, in desperation at the onslaught on our lives and spiritual
consciousness.
What is being
discovered are the veins of energy that intertwine around the whole surface of
the Earth and which intercommunicate, change, “talk” to each other in a
language long forgotten by modern man/woman. It is like water weaving around a
hard rock, leaving time behind, taking the line of least resistance, yet,
achieving without imposed control, absolute dominion over the well-being of the
planet, with Love at the core of its intention.
It was many
months of “being” with the trees, sitting, meditating and learning from them,
before I actually heard their loud, audible and pulsating heartbeat. (I am deaf
and have quite a degree of hearing loss).
It was a heart-quickening and joyous experience. It is like a two-chord beat, coming from deep
within the earth, regular and with resonance. It is much slower than our
heartbeat.
It is a deep
healing sound, unlike any I have heard before or since. This sound is literally
a joy to my ears. And much more than that, it resonates so deeply within my
subconscious, and so beloved, that I believe it is the actual Earth heartbeat,
and it remains pulsating in my head after I have moved away from the trunk of
the tree.
I have come to
trust that heartbeat. It never fails to bring me to a place of calm. And I have
learnt that each tree has its own unique heartbeat: Each one describing its
age, place and position in the woody and universal scheme of things. From
linking to the very heart of the tree, teachings happen.
The trees are
our guardians, our doctors, and our friends. We are completely in union with
them, for without each other we would most surely die: the carbon/oxygen
exchange is a testament of this marriage:

I
am always assisted by my guide, who has always walked with me, unseen, rarely
heard but always teaching. Wihtflaed traveled with me before I even knew her.
I know I had ‘someone’ from spirit, I called her ‘my Lady’. when I discovered
her true name so many things just fell into place. She has been teaching about
her land, her trees, her wisdom filtered through to my own blank space!!! I owe
her so much. And you need to know our Wihtwara Ancestors really do walk with
us. Now we honour them, their pain is being released in boundless Love.
We
always offer the spring water to the tree. That is a given. Only when we cannot
reach the uppermost branches do we take from the fallen on the ground. A
remembrance; I was sitting at the base of the truly ancient Ash hidden before
the undercliff at Shanklin. One of my first tree essences. Not even a double
ladder could reach the leaves in the upper canopy. So, I sat and prayed. I went
into a deep meditation. After a time, I opened my eyes and had a ‘moment’ for sitting in my lap was a medium-sized very
flourishing young tender branch from up top! That Ash essence coupled with
Citrine became a major healer.
Look
for crystals that you feel drawn too. Bring as many as you wish. But always dowse
for their permission to want to offer themselves for healing. And do they
subsist in water?
So,
dear friends, onto the dowsing technique. I have always used it, both for
crystals and always for the trees. Even when we hear their heartbeat, loud and
pulsating clear, I always ask permission with the dowser. And we can find out
so much asking questions clear and unambiguous.
Please
bring your own dowser.
To
save time, create your own harness with string around your jar. It is the very
best way of securing the essence while it is being created.

I
will be adding more information relating to creating the finished essence which will have been
offered to the sun, moon and wind, no doubt in the days following.
